FAQs
What exactly do you do?
1
I help people with anxious or sad minds, ADHD, or addiction challenges to reconnect with their bodies and joy through playful, non-dogmatic methods: improvisation, sophrology, and group rituals. We heal through group work—we move, laugh, and get real.
Is this therapy?
2
It’s not clinical therapy, that’s why I recommend that you consult a professional in parallel of this practice. Think of it as "therapy through play"—guided, safe, and sometimes deeply transformative.
Do you do one-on-one or only groups?
3
Sitting Monkey used to be only offline group magic—healing in community is central to my philosophy. But after seeing the large demand for it, I went and got my sophrology coaching certification and am now happy to offer 1:1 coaching for deeper personal work.
What’s your teaching/coaching style?
4
Radically human. No gurus, no hierarchies. I work mainly with Non Violent Communication.
I’m not here to “fix” you—I’m here to facilitate, play alongside you, and hold space.
I’m not an actor and I don’t want to be.
Can I still participate?
5
Absolutely. No experience needed. We use improv as a tool for liberation, not performance. You won’t be judged—you’ll be welcomed.
