The Inner Child - The Forgotten One
“I just want you to enjoy a point of view that I enjoy. This is the real secret of life—to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize that it is play.”
- Allan Watts
In my trainings, games are a very serious matter. They allow you to transform failure into fun, danger into amusement. When we were kids, we used to marvel at everything and say yes to anything. Through impro we have the opportunity to leave the adult behind and create whole worlds solely with our imagination. As we come together in a moment of deep connection with ourselves and others, we nurture our confidence on stage and learn to let go and smile in the face of danger. Hopefully, when we put our adult hat on again, we notice that we are no longer alone, but always accompanied by our inner child, to remind ourselves that life, is in fact, all a game.
